I have only been to uk for a few months, but I have already witnessed many strikes, from the Royal Mail strike at the begining to the university teachers’ strike which happened lately.
My neighbour said “welcome to western life”.
At home, I never need to worried about any inconvinience brought by strike, because the government is 100 times more worried about it than me. I bet my money on it, they will go there at the first time and arrest the leaders, and then may give them some name like “disorder the society”.
We can see it from the Chongqing taxi driver strike case.
